Okay, enough pep talk...on to fashion. Diva's POD (pick of the day) is the "Laced Up in You" sleeveless dress from Fashion to Figure. One thing about FTF is that they know how to present styles that are becoming, chic and sexy for the more voluptuous silhouette.

From the front, this dress looks pretty normal, in a sexy kinda way. But from the side and back, this dress just graduated to blockbuster status!

I absolutely love this dress, with the back lacing being my favorite aspect.

How I'd wear a bra with this is beyond me though, other than just letting it show through (which I think is a fashion faux pas; they're called unmentionables so if you're not supposed to mention them, you sure shouldn't see them).

Happy Friday Eve! One of my good friends said that to me on a Thursday once and I've been using it ever since.

So I'm coming to grips with the fact that e-mail marketing works. Even though I don't open each and every item of the ton of what I call "sale mail" I get every day in my inbox, I find some great style inspiration in them. And it seems like I find the best items at great deals when I'm really not supposed to be shopping...but that's another blog post.

Today, the item that caught my eye is the Stella dress from IGIGI (http://www.igigi.com). I love the color combination and sheer elegance of this floor length dress. And in the sunny state of Florida, this could be a year-round stunner for multiple events.

And this model looks absolutely amazing in every photo! Great marketing IGIGI!

The Pick of the Day (POD) is a beautiful full-length maxi dress from the design genius of Trina Turk. It's the Anargosa Desert Maxi.

Even though this beautiful dress doesn't come in my current size (working on that "current size" thing though), I absolutely LOVE it! The retail on this is just over $450 but it is available to rent for only $100 at Rent the Runway. It comes in sizes 0 to 14. The beauty of Rent the Runway is that you can rent two different sizes for one cost. For most of us, that is a great help since you never know how a piece may be cut different.

Alright, it's back to the shoes. I ran across this HOTT shoe when I was searching for another pair. These are the Red Kiss Nicole 133 Gold Metal Plate Accent London Print Peep Toe Platform Pumps. Yes, the name is that long on the product. But to see them is to love them and be forgiving for the drawn out, descriptive name.

It's amazing what you can find accidentally. The price tag on these babies is a steal at only $52.99. It's not available in my size anymore; otherwise I may have had to break my vow to not purchase any more shoes in the month of May. Only 10 more days to go!

This one-of-a-kind print definitely caught my eye and I just had to share!

My pick of the day is usually some bold shoes or hot dress. But today, when I saw the Secret Weapon Earring from Shoe Dazzle, I knew this was it! 

It's a very simple design but it is fierce and classy. Definitely loving these babies and the price tag is only $15.95! The bad? By the time I glanced at these, they were sold out in both silver and gold. so if anyone sees something similar...holla at ya girl.

All shoe divas know and love the offerings of a favorite designer, Christian Louboutin. My pick of the day is by none other than this shoe-designing genius.

The Lady Peep Slingback Pumps by Christian Louboutin definitely caught my eye as I was browsing. The baby pink and canari color block choice is definitely a winner and the souris and craie color block is a close runner up. I mean, I'd rock either pair!

The retail price of these slingbacks will set you back by about $945. They are available now at Neiman Marcus.

BONUS POD!

The Sweet Charity Small Shoulderbag by Louboutin is also hot and you can no doubt rock this with the slingbacks! Too hot! Price tag is approximately $1,595, available via the Louboutin site now. Color blocks are souris and rose Paris.

It was love at first sight when I saw KARIE by ShoeDazzle.

To make it short and sweet, this shoe made me have a "Marilyn Moment". Ya know, one of those moments where you just absolutely love the inventor of high heels.

Of course, I prefer my favorite color (pink) but it's also available in white.

The layout of the jewel embellishments on this lovely shoe make it a showstopper, no doubt.

Many years ago, I was stuck in the frame of having one handbag that I could carry with everything. That usually was a medium-sized black bag. It's always great to have a "go to" piece like a cute black bag, but that shouldn't be your only bag...at least, not if you're a diva!

Today, I have bags that fill a couple of those big plastic storage bins. And a roll-on-sized suitcase. And a large suitcase. Okay, I'm gonna stop there and just say that I have more than a few bags.
Just like shoes, I like to invest in cute, practical items but my passion explodes when I find a different bag. One of our fave designers, Alexander McQueen inspired my pick of the day (POD) with the De Manta Clutch. Not only is the shape to die for, but the spring colors are super hot! The retail price on this bag in black is $700, and $800 for colors. But Beyond the Rack has a current special offering them for $500 and $600, respectively.

Since I have met the Rachel Roy brand, I've been on edge anticipating all the designs and creativity that flows from this beautiful lady's label. Sometimes I poke my lip out a bit when the really super cute items aren't available in my full-figured size :-( but such are the trials of being curvaceously flattering.

It's no secret that one of my favorite places to shop is Ashley Stewart. My Pick of the Day is their Color Block Ribbed Dress. It comes in white and black or citron lime and black.

One of the reasons that I love Ashley (yes, first name basis) is because she brings some fly pieces that love on my curves just right! Another reason is that I can afford to splurge. This dress is only $49.50! And when Diva Dollar time rolls around, I sing "Oh Happy Day"!

Sometimes I think I lived up north in a past life because I am crazy about tall boots. Living in Central Florida, we don't have that many days cool enough to rock the tall boots. So when I get a chance, I break my babies out and, being the diva that I am, always get complimented.

Today, as I opened my message from JustFab, I was enamored by the selection of tall boots that were in this e-mail. They were all hot but I absolutely LOVE the Camden! Ms. Camden is about to make me break my vow to only shop for myself after I'm completely done with my Christmas gift shopping. Hmm...maybe she'll just motivate me to hurry and finish (like today) before she's sold out.

Wow! Yes! Oh my goodness! I need these in my closet! 

It's said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Well, the picture of my pick of the day (POD) is definitely worth at least a thousand. The opening words of this post are some of the first that came to mind...only 989 more to go.

Some people don't like to get all the emails but I absolutely look forward to mine. I won't lie; they can stack up if you don't check them regularly. But it is SO worth it when I open a message and see an item like Diandra by ShoeDazzle. Diandra is part of ShoeDazzle's $10 off 10 favorites sale today only. Yes, I see how Diandra made it to the favorites list.  I had to include a close up of the detail on the top portion of the shoe. These take the shoes from fabulous to fabulicious status!

Every once in a while, I happen upon a piece that I absolutely love and it is my Pick of the Day (POD). Today, as I was clearing out my e-mail "Fashion" folder (yes, I have a "Fashion" folder; doesn't everyone?), I opened one that I missed almost a week ago. As I read the subject of the e-mail, I was like 'what the heck is a loop me in dress'? When I opened it, I knew I had a fashionable duty to shout this hot dress in it's own post!

Fashion to Figure (www.fashiontofigure.com) has showed out, offering this dress for only $38.00! Now, will I be ordering this one? Probably not because I'm not ready to showcase my legs just yet. But, on second thought, if I put some pantyhose or fishnet hose on with it...hmmm.... Well, if I get it, I'll have to do a follow up post.
