Are you ready for this summer? Have you started 'spring training' so that you can drop 10 pounds or the beach? I start again every week. Just remember that as long as you're happy, you can be confident with each and every curve you own.

Here are a few swimsuits that you can get shipped directly to you from Amazon. They have really good reviews and none of them have those 'runs small' comments that mean you have to order 3 to 4 sizes larger...and pray that it will fit.

Check out a few pieces that I hand-picked. They were designed with curves in mind. Just click to view details and purchase.

2-Piece High-Waist Bikini
Vintage Swimdress
$21.99 & up - Sizes 8 to 26 - 2 Colors
Two-piece Striped Tankini

High-waisted 2-Piece Swimsuits
$23.99-26.97 - Multiple Colors - Sizes XL to 4X

And here's a bonus sassy cover-up that is perfect to handle your sexy curves.

Le Diva Ballerina - Photo: Shawn T
After much fuss and not so much planning, it was about 24 hours before the Halloween party that I was set to attend. I hadn't ordered a costume like I was supposed to and it was way too late now.

So I took to our favorite last-minute, do-it-yourself app...Pinterest to the rescue!!! But I still wasn't gonna be able to pull anything off that complemented my curves correctly.

My friends stepped in just before I was going to back out and helped me pull together what I like to call Le Diva Ballerina.

I'm glad that I was able to wear something cute, cost-effective and comfortable. And I had an awesome time at the party.

Guess I need to start planning now for Halloween 2016...ooh, that rhymes! Maybe Wonder Woman can make an appearance next year.

I am so blessed and humbled to see the vision that has been in me since I was about 12 years old grow and go forth. I am thankful to God for not letting it die in me. Okay, enough of that...I can't be crying and messing up my mascara. LMBO!

That being said, you are cordially invited to celebrate your sharp curves with you official tee or tank.

Please believe...there is FAR more to come...

Happy Monday!!! No, really, I mean it. Even if you don't like Mondays or you're having a not so great start to the week, be happy for what you DO have!

Okay, enough pep talk...on to fashion. Diva's POD (pick of the day) is the "Laced Up in You" sleeveless dress from Fashion to Figure. One thing about FTF is that they know how to present styles that are becoming, chic and sexy for the more voluptuous silhouette.

From the front, this dress looks pretty normal, in a sexy kinda way. But from the side and back, this dress just graduated to blockbuster status!

I absolutely love this dress, with the back lacing being my favorite aspect.

How I'd wear a bra with this is beyond me though, other than just letting it show through (which I think is a fashion faux pas; they're called unmentionables so if you're not supposed to mention them, you sure shouldn't see them).

Anyway, have an outstanding week and remember to take one step towards your goal today and you'll be closer than you ever have been!

Happy Friday Eve! One of my good friends said that to me on a Thursday once and I've been using it ever since.

So I'm coming to grips with the fact that e-mail marketing works. Even though I don't open each and every item of the ton of what I call "sale mail" I get every day in my inbox, I find some great style inspiration in them. And it seems like I find the best items at great deals when I'm really not supposed to be shopping...but that's another blog post.

Today, the item that caught my eye is the Stella dress from IGIGI (http://www.igigi.com). I love the color combination and sheer elegance of this floor length dress. And in the sunny state of Florida, this could be a year-round stunner for multiple events.

And this model looks absolutely amazing in every photo! Great marketing IGIGI!

Have a wonderful remainder of the week and remember that whatever you allow in your life will increase in your life, whether positive or negative.

Until next time, be fashionable!

A trend that is hot this season is the use of geometric shapes in clothes for full-figured women. I bought this dress from Dots (www.dots.com) when they had a clearance one day last season. Even though it was a little more risque than anything in my wardrobe, it was definitely and eye-catcher for me.

Check out these items that incorporate geo shapes and lines, along with bold colors. Loving this trend!

Until next time, be fashionable!

Shades of green are often overlooked when it comes to "diva colors". We focus on pinks, reds, purples and the every stylist black & white combo. When I wore my lime green blouse from Cato to work, everyone was so enamored. I thought the top was cute and it was on sale so I got it. I wasn't so stuck on the color.

Just like any other solid shade, greens can be worn with any coordinating prints, or with another solid color. Personally, I think that shades of green tend to look very nice with white, hence the white belt.

I decided to see what items in shades of green were hot for Spring 2013. My results were no less than expected.

I found timeless pieces like the blouse from Oscar de la Renta and Lane Bryant's Taffetta Trench Coat in innovative shades, as well as bold makeup looks on bliss.com and The Project Awesome blog (theprojectawesome.blogspot.com).

We can safely say that there is no shortage of items in shades of lime, kelly and mint that you can wear that will make other green with envy.

What are you waiting for? It's time to "go green"!

Until next time, always put your most fashionable foot forward!

It's no secret that one of my favorite places to shop is Ashley Stewart. My Pick of the Day is their Color Block Ribbed Dress. It comes in white and black or citron lime and black.

One of the reasons that I love Ashley (yes, first name basis) is because she brings some fly pieces that love on my curves just right! Another reason is that I can afford to splurge. This dress is only $49.50! And when Diva Dollar time rolls around, I sing "Oh Happy Day"!

Until next time, smile and remind yourself how wonderful you are!

Have a fashionable week! ~ Diva
Every year, people get caught up in the hustle and bustle of getting last minute gifts at great discounts from the Black Friday sales all the way through Christmas Eve. But many often forget that the POST-Christmas sales are usually way better than the sales before the big day.

As I wondered why, it began to make sense to me. People are definitely going to shop and spend buying gifts before Christmas. But afterwards, many people give their pockets a rest and wait for their accounts to build again after spending huge amounts. So, if I give you an unbeatable deal on the few days after Christmas, you'll give me your few dollars that you didn't even plan to spend.

Okay, enough talk! Here are some of the rock bottom AFTER Christmas sales that I've happened to notice.

H&M (www.hm.com/us/) has items starting at just $3! This has got to be my favorite sale! If you have 5 bucks, you can get something! Yaay!

ShoeDazzle (www.shoedazzle.com) is offering boots and booties at 40% off regular price! Never too many shoes! And I love boots!

DOTS does some of the best clearance sales at different points in the year. The after-Christmas sale is no disappointment with an extra 50% off clearance prices. You can go to the web site at www.dots.com but I suggest going into a store if there's one close. There's one close enough for me to run over on my lunch break...hmmm...

PZI Jeans (www.pzijeans.com) has extended their Christmas sale with 25% off everything. Grab the code and grab some cute jeans!

Carol's Daughter (www.carolsdaughter.com) has every item on sale, with products on at up to 40% off! Every item on sale? Yes, every single item!

Simply Be (www.simplybe.com) is offering 40% off orders that total at least $100. So, if you've got $60, go get that discount! Don't forget to use the code at checkout!

One of my fave plus size fashion spots, Torrid, is having a mega sale to satisfy the curves of any curvy fashionista! (www.torrid.com)

Happy shopping fashionistas!

Until next time, be fashionable and save some cash!

Fashionably your's,
