Are you ready for this summer? Have you started 'spring training' so that you can drop 10 pounds or the beach? I start again every week. Just remember that as long as you're happy, you can be confident with each and every curve you own.

Here are a few swimsuits that you can get shipped directly to you from Amazon. They have really good reviews and none of them have those 'runs small' comments that mean you have to order 3 to 4 sizes larger...and pray that it will fit.

Check out a few pieces that I hand-picked. They were designed with curves in mind. Just click to view details and purchase.

2-Piece High-Waist Bikini
Vintage Swimdress
$21.99 & up - Sizes 8 to 26 - 2 Colors
Two-piece Striped Tankini
$21.99-23.99 - Sizes XL to 4X

High-waisted 2-Piece Swimsuits
$23.99-26.97 - Multiple Colors - Sizes XL to 4X

And here's a bonus sassy cover-up that is perfect to handle your sexy curves.

T-shirt Styled Cover-up
$12.88 One size in 6 styles

Which one is your favorite? Are you going to try any of these options?

Thanks for stopping by and remember to keep those sharp curves super classy!

Wow, I can't believe it's #NYFW already! That's New York Fashion Week for those looking with a blank stare. Ha! Two of the biggest stories are about France banning ultra thin models and Kanye West's "Yeezy" fashion unveiling. As far as the 'thin model ban', I think it's amazing that the fashion industry is becoming more adept to real life...even though we have a long way to go, especially for curvier figures. And Yeezy...people can say what they want but Mr. West is doing his thing. The nay sayers are forgetting that fashion is flexible and just because they don't care for it, that's their opinion.

Okay, back to life in the here and now...

Today is casual Friday so I'm wearing my jeans and work polo, which isn't spectacular in the least.

But yesterday, I finally rocked a simple yet stunning look that some of my favorite bloggers have done. It's the dress with booties look. Basically, you take a cute dress that is knee-length or shorter, add some tights or leggings and finish the look with some hot booties. I'm not referring to backside booties (got enough of that though), but to the ankle-height boots that come in a variety of colors and styles.

I styled mine by starting with an old maroon  sheath dress with faux leather side strips. I added some basic black leggings and some cute black booties that were a gift from my best friend. To spice it up and keep a little warmer, I added my faux leather with sheer stripes jacket. The best part of this is that I had all of this in my closet! Go team ME!

And here are some of my favorite bloggers rocking this trendy trio of dress + tights + booties. The photos are courtesy of the ladies' blog sites.

From left to right, these beauties are:

"Diva Doing" items: Dress (old from Ross) + Leggings (old) + Booties (gifted from BFF) + Jacket (old from Ashley Stewart)

And before I got I have to give a shout out to my photographer extraordinaire, Ms. Shawnee!

I am absolutely in love with love! Like, seriously! I get so happy and teary-eyed when I get to witness true love. So what does that have to do with Fashion Flashback to the 1920s?

My friend, Rolanda, is getting married in a couple of months and her theme is 1920s Mafioso based. I'm so super duper excited to attend this sockdollager*! I am on auto-RSVP to arrive at the speakeasy (location undisclosed) in my cutest 1920s divaliciousity. (Yes, divaliciousity is a word...I just typed it twice.)

Of course, you always have to be fly when you attend a social function, especially a wedding. And especially when you're single...just saying, but that's another blog post. I need to find the perfect outfit from head to toe because, although it may be hard to believe, I'm still single. Yes, single, but I ain't no cancelled stamp*.

I actually had the opportunity to attend a 1920s throwback gathering last year and was able to pull this outfit together. Most of the stuff, including the mermaid-style dress and bob wig, I already had.

For the upcoming event, I think I want to go with a shorter dress and a different hairstyle. I definitely can't wear what I wore the last time! Something about the diva dress code and statutes.

Here are the dress styles I'm considering. They're cute and available in plus sizes...and they don't cost too much mazuma*.

Which one do you like best?
The hair style to top either dress off to complete the look is the classy and retro finger wave style.

And to kick it up just one more notch, I totally must have this head chain, especially for the low price.

Let me know what you think. Will I be a choice piece of calico* with these picks?

Thanks for stopping by!

*Slang terms from the 1920s era used in this post:
- sockdollager: an event or action of great importance
- cancelled stamp: shy and lonely woman; wallflower
- mazuma: cash
- choice piece of calico: desirable woman
It happened again.

All I wanted to do was check my email real quick. And there it was distracting me. I honestly don't recall if I even paid attention to my inbox at that time. I was captivated by the ad displaying a pair of golden knee-high boots and the Fashionable POW (Pick Of the Week).

The name of this shoe is totally what happened when I saw it. May I introduce you to my new friend, Mind Blowing Green Snake IMI by Luichiny.

Even the bottoms are super cute! I honestly don't have much else to say about this particular POW. You can be friends with my new friend by clicking here: GET THE MIND BLOWING GREEN SNAKE IMI BY LUICHINY.

Le Diva Ballerina - Photo: Shawn T
After much fuss and not so much planning, it was about 24 hours before the Halloween party that I was set to attend. I hadn't ordered a costume like I was supposed to and it was way too late now.

So I took to our favorite last-minute, do-it-yourself app...Pinterest to the rescue!!! But I still wasn't gonna be able to pull anything off that complemented my curves correctly.

My friends stepped in just before I was going to back out and helped me pull together what I like to call Le Diva Ballerina.

I'm glad that I was able to wear something cute, cost-effective and comfortable. And I had an awesome time at the party.

Guess I need to start planning now for Halloween 2016...ooh, that rhymes! Maybe Wonder Woman can make an appearance next year.

It's almost time to put those super class sharp curves into a super costume! I missed dressing up for Halloween last year since I was busy breast-feeding. So glad that's overwith!!!

A couple of years ago, I came up with my super low-budget creation that stood out as an original, Super Diva! Yeah, I was cute! And I have to give a shout out to one of my idols, Wonder Woman 'cause Super Diva wasn't chasing any bad guys in her boots!

So...the big question is what should my costume be for Halloween 2015? I love how that rhymes. I know it's only 11 days away but I work well under pressure.

Being full-figured always presents a challenging goal - one that is attainable though. I started searching online to see my options. And I always, always read the reviews when purchasing online. The goal I had in mind was to find the outfits that had great comments and weren't too expensive.

My top pick, based on the price and rave reviews is the Secret Wishes DC Comics Batgirl Plus Size Adult Costume. I love the way they created the outfit with sharp curves in mind by allowing it to be sassy but not overly raunchy. I should get this just for the boot toppers alone!
What costume are you wearing for Halloween???
